Systems Architecture · Technical Operations · Scalable Design
A decade working across design, development, and infrastructure — from 600-component design systems to IndyCar race operations. I understand how products get built, deployed, and kept alive under pressure.
About
My career has moved across the full technical stack — from front-end developer and lead designer to the engineer responsible for all systems at a professional IndyCar team. The common thread is bridging: between design thinking and infrastructure, between the software teams build and the systems that have to keep it running under pressure.
The Polymer design system I built at PartnerPage was a 600-component architecture with versioning, documentation, and breaking-change policies, maintained across engineers and designers shipping to enterprise customers. My infrastructure work at Prema Racing follows the same logic — deploying internal web infrastructure, managing virtualized server environments across the shop and race trailer, migrating domain controllers, tightening Group Policy and permissions, and authoring the operational runbooks and change management policies the team runs by. Both required the same thing: understanding how a complex system behaves, how it fails, and how to build it so that it doesn't.
I've spent time in every layer of how technical products get made — sketching concepts, writing front-end code, collaborating with engineers on implementation, and operating systems in production under real pressure. That full-stack perspective, from design intent through to operational reality, is where I'm most useful and hardest to replace.
