Introduction
Outfitter Gear List (OGL) serves outdoor enthusiasts like hunters, hikers, and backpackers as a platform to research, feature, and sell the best gear in the industry.
Problem
OGL needed a website to bring together all of these audiences in one place to help sell gear for specific hunting, hiking, and outdoor adventures. Outfitters and their clients need to be able to easily manage their gear lists, accounts, and purchase/ship merchandise to customers.
Solution
We created Outfitter Gear List a bold website where members can shop for products on their next adventure. Additionally, outfitters can create and manage specific gear lists for curated trips with their clients, whether it’s a deer hunt or a backpacking trip.
Gear Lists were created as a custom post type in WordPress where outfitters can share relevant information about expected conditions and travel accommodations for upcoming trips.
Outfitters can offer premium options to upgrade gear from their standard recommended equipment, as more durable/rugged gear for customers wanting to spend more on higher-end items.
This website was designed in Sketch and built into a fully custom WordPress theme with one of a kind photography and drone footage provided by the Outfitter Gear List team.
